Who we are

Retail engineering specialists building solutions to optimize your store

Our conviction

Context beats isolated alerts

We do not believe in a single miracle solution. The key is global context: store information, existing infrastructure and the human capacity available at each moment.

Our approach starts with what is already in the store: no new cameras or hardware required, and no custom connectors with software vendors as a prerequisite.

Our ecosystem

We work with the key players in retail

Retailers, security providers, integrators and equipment makers: Darwin plugs into the systems they already run, and works with them every day.

  • Carrefour
  • Securitas
  • Inwave
  • IVT Security, groupe Barkene
  • Checkpoint Systems
  • Dahua Technology
  • Hikvision
  • Aritech

GDPR

Event-based governance for European retailers

Designed for the European regulatory frame from day one: data protection shapes how Darwin is built, not how it is patched.

Four guarantees, built into the architecture

  1. No facial recognition Darwin detects situations, never identities. No biometric data, no customer database.
  2. Event-based processing Only the sequences tied to an alert are processed: no continuous analysis of people.
  3. Restricted, logged access Every view is logged; retention and access rules are set by the retailer.
  4. DPO validation and PIA DPO validation and a privacy impact assessment depending on project scope.

Compliance and certifications

  • Architecture designed to run locally: no sensitive data leaves the store
  • Designed for GDPR rules
  • Designed within the European AI Act framework

Hosted services run on Amazon Web Services, Paris region (France): the ISO 27001 certification applies to that infrastructure. Video processing stays on the in-store server.

Which use cases for your store?

Every store format has its priorities. An ROI study or a store PoC validates which use cases to deploy first, on your existing infrastructure.
